This is the simple payback of the gas power-generation system, not the payback of the complete project EPC. Annual saving = annual diesel cost (fuel + O&M) − annual gas cost (fuel + O&M); annual O&M for both options is already included in the cost-per-kWh inputs.

Indicative sweet spot: the highlighted point is the lowest estimated power-generation payback under the current fuel price, load and budgetary CAPEX assumptions. It excludes complete EPC, off-site pipeline works and gas-treatment scope.

Primary sensitivity: delivered gas price, followed by diesel price and annual operating hours. Date-stamp all prices before customer use.

Gas-to-Power feasibility for industrial and off-grid projects

This engineering pre-feasibility tool connects power demand with gas quantity, fuel logistics, modular generator configuration, operating cost and savings against diesel generation. It is designed for early screening before CIMC ENRIC verifies the gas source, gas quality, site conditions and project scope.

What can this Gas-to-Power calculator estimate?

It estimates net power output, annual generation, gas flow in Nm³/h, Nm³/day and MMSCFD, LNG tonnes and truck movements where relevant, modular generator combinations, fuel cost per kWh and annual operating savings.

Which gas sources can be evaluated?

The calculator supports associated petroleum gas (APG), biogas, CNG tube-trailer supply, LNG virtual pipelines and pipeline natural gas (PNG). Each route has a different price basis, treatment scope, logistics requirement and verification risk.

Does the displayed payback include the complete project EPC?

No. It is the simple payback of the budgetary gas power-generation system, using annual diesel cost minus annual gas cost. Fuel and non-fuel O&M for both options are included, while unentered civil works, off-site pipelines, gas-treatment systems, financing and complete EPC scope are excluded.

What can CIMC ENRIC supply for a Gas-to-Power project?

CIMC ENRIC can review associated-gas recovery and pretreatment, biogas upgrading, LNG and CNG storage and transport, tank containers, road tankers, tube trailers, liquefaction, regasification, pressure regulation and modular gas power-generation systems through one coordinated project interface.

CIMC ENRIC Energy Systems provides equipment and project-integration support. Public or customer-entered data does not confirm gas rights, commercial availability, gas quality, delivered price or final equipment performance; these items require project-specific review.

Indicative pre-feasibility estimate only. Not a quotation, performance guarantee or confirmation of gas availability. Validate prices, equipment curves, logistics and site conditions before proposal issue.
