The shipping container was invented to move things. Today, what goes inside the box keeps finding new jobs — batteries, controls, power conversion, living modules, data halls, and ideas we have not built yet. CIMC is an open platform: you bring the application; we engineer and manufacture the enclosure and the integrated equipment around it.
Across a five-base energy storage network — Qingdao, Nantong, Yangzhou, Fujian, plus Baotou, Inner Mongolia as the fifth base — and related Group manufacturing for modular buildings and rapidly deployable energy equipment, we can go beyond a single storage cabin. A proven design and sustained demand can support a dedicated production line, subject to engineering review and an agreed production plan.
Five bases: capacity references and dates
Qingdao, Nantong, Yangzhou and Fujian appear in the CIMC Energy Storage English presentation (June 2025, slide 12), with 40+ GWh stated annual production capacity for that four-base network. Baotou was reported as the fifth base at commissioning on 16 September 2026, with 15 GWh Phase I annual storage-system delivery capability; Phase II is planned for 2027. These references describe the CIMC storage network; they are not the annual output of CIMC Enric Energy Systems (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. Confirm project capacity, delivery slots and supply scope for the actual order. Full evidence: Manufacturing capabilities.
Open to your technology and your market
Three energy directions. One invitation to build together.
You may already have the battery, engine, cooling technology or local customer. We can develop the manufacturing and system interfaces around it, with the relevant CIMC teams and an agreed delivery scope.

Our own direction · From equipment to an operating system
Africa: build the whole energy chain.
A generator is one part of the project. Fuel access, conditioning, electrical integration and local service determine whether the system can keep supplying the customer. This is the integrated approach we are advancing with project owners and local partners.
Nigeria · Contract signed · Under execution
Associated gas to power: customized AM600
Our Nigeria project combines two associated-gas sources — U1 separator gas and U4 low-pressure separator gas — with the fuel collection and conditioning interfaces needed for containerized AM600 generation.
The project scope connects gas handling, pressure and liquid management, generation, controls and site integration. The public case records a signed contract under execution.
AM20 factory acceptance inspection before shipment, from our signed telecom case. This is a factory view.
LNG storage, vaporization, pressure control, gas generation and controls come together in one compact skid. This equipment approach provides a starting point for telecom, small commercial and distributed-energy discussions.
01 · FuelPipeline gas, associated gas or delivered LNG; establish availability and quality.
02 · PrepareStorage or vaporization, pressure control and conditioning as required.
03 · GenerateMatch the gas engine and modular package to the continuous load and site.
04 · BalanceAssess BESS and solar where they improve the operating profile.
05 · DeliverDistribution, protection and controls connect generation to customer loads.
06 · SupportCommissioning, operator training, spare parts and local maintenance responsibilities.
Engineering concept · Larger-scale route
From a first package to a phased power plant
Our Nigeria 25 MW pipeline-gas page presents a modular plant concept and an expansion approach. It illustrates how the same fuel-to-load logic can support a larger project; the page describes a planning reference.
A local developer or dealer brings customer demand, fuel access, site permissions and service coverage. We develop the equipment and integration scope together, then agree factory acceptance, commissioning and pilot operating records before replication.
The AM600 reference is under execution. The 25 MW page is an engineering concept. Operating results and repeat deployment plans will be added as verified project milestones become available.

Something we have not listed — your idea
If it needs a well-built box and a factory that can go from prototype to volume: it belongs in this conversation.
Share the idea — sketch, problem, market, or photo. No formal RFQ required to start.
Engineering talk — separate custom work from proven enclosure practice.
Prototype — first article or small batch for field testing.
Scale — agree the product, quality plan and volume requirements. Dedicated production capacity can be evaluated as demand grows.
Bring us your idea matters as much as placing an order.
Questions
What does “CIMC as an open container platform” mean for my energy project?
The container’s job used to be moving cargo. Now the valuable part is often what you put inside — batteries, switchgear, controls, living modules, data halls. CIMC engineers and manufactures the enclosure and integration interfaces; you define the payload. What we have already built indicates what else we can build with you.
Is the Vestas modular nacelle cabin a CIMC ENRIC Energy Systems project?
No. It is a CIMC Group · CIMC Yangzhou manufacturing collaboration with Vestas (public sources from 2021 onward). We share it as proof of Group capability — not as our own EPC case history.
We have an idea for a new energy container, but not a big order yet. Should we still contact you?
Yes. WhatsApp (+86 156 1864 9185) or email [email protected]. Engineering discussion and prototype first; dedicated production capacity can follow if volume grows.
What are the “five bases” mentioned on this page?
See manufacturing capabilities: Qingdao, Nantong, Yangzhou, Fujian (June 2025 presentation, slide 12; 40+ GWh) plus Baotou (commissioned 16 September 2026; 15 GWh Phase I). CIMC storage network references, not CIMC Enric Energy Systems output.
Can we bring our own battery, engine, PCS or cooling technology?
Yes. Bring the equipment specifications, interfaces, load profile and target market. We can discuss enclosure design, factory integration and system coordination with the relevant teams. Compatibility, approvals, testing and the responsible supply scope are agreed through engineering review.
How are you advancing integrated energy projects in Africa?
Our Nigeria AM600 associated-gas project has a signed contract and is under execution. It connects fuel handling and conditioning with containerized generation and site integration. We also develop modular LNG-to-power packages and larger plant concepts. Each rollout needs a defined fuel supply, electrical design, commissioning plan and local service responsibilities.
Who delivered the airport, aquaculture and modular-building references?
These are references from the identified CIMC Group companies, including TianDa, Raffles, Yangzhou, CIMC Construction and MBS. CIMC ENRIC Energy Systems can coordinate a new energy-system discussion with the relevant teams. The responsible supplier and contract scope are agreed for each new project.
